Joe Smallman
Senior Account Executive
Joe joined WA’s strategic communications practice as a Senior Account Executive in 2023, and works primarily across education, skills, and energy accounts.
Joe graduated from the University of Cambridge with a double first-class degree in Human, Social, and Political Sciences, and holds an MA in European Studies from King’s College London. Throughout his studies, he developed a keen interest in political economy and international politics.
Prior to joining WA, Joe was communications officer for a children’s charity where he led on developing the organisation’s first communications strategy. During his studies, he undertook multiple research internships, including at the Jesus College Intellectual Forum.
Joe is an active member of the Labour Party and serves on the national committee of LGBT+ Labour.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys travelling, exploring London’s pubs, and bingeing TV boxsets.
