Senior Account Executive, Investor Services

WA Communications is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will quickly get involved in researching, analysing and drawing out commercial insights from government policymaking to support clients’ M&A transactions, and gain experience in marketing and business development. OVERVIEW:

Job Title:           Senior Account Executive

Job Type:          Full Time, Permanent Position

Reports to:        Account Director (Investor Services)

Location            WA Hybrid working – 2 days in office, 3 days working from home

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You’ll be in your early career with a genuine interest in policy and how policy making affects the commercial decisions of businesses in the UK or a recent graduate with some experience in an office environment, this may include previous work experience or as part of an internship programme.

  • Ability to analyse, summarise and communicate complex policy, regulatory and commercial issues in a simple and compelling way

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducting high-quality research for political due diligence reports, using qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Supporting with meeting preparations, including scheduling, preparing agendas, minutes and updates for client calls
  • Arranging and attending meetings with private equity investors, corporate finance advisors and political stakeholders
  • Liaising with clients to discuss and identify their requirements
  • Supporting in the creation and delivery of pitches, along with other WA staff, with the aim of securing new business for the agency
  • Conducting research to support new business lead generation amongst existing clients and in support of our wider service offer
  • Daily monitoring of newspapers, magazines, key digital and social media outlets to identify potential new business opportunities and developments of relevance to our client base
  • Delivering presentations, as part of the wider team, to clients on the conclusions of our in-depth policy research
  • Supporting the delivery of insightful, targeted marketing initiatives (including research reports and associated events) by the Investor Services team.
