Energy in 2018: More action or more rhetoric?

Words by:
Managing Director
January 22, 2018

The pace of change in the energy market increases each year, and 2018 looks set to be no exception. Rapid advances in technology and an increase in political salience make for an incredibly exciting – if not always easy – time to be involved in the energy sector.

This new report considers the key developments we can expect across the energy sector in this year and beyond. We reflect on the key challenges on the horizon; from ensuring that policy can keep up with the pace of technological innovation, to Brexit and the implications of withdrawing from the single energy market. In doing so we set out the areas of the energy market we expect to be most impacted by the current political environment and where businesses might naturally seek to engage with Government.

We hope you find our report useful and interesting as you kick-off your year.
