Lorna is a specialist in public affairs and strategic communications, having worked in a political consultancy environment for over a decade. She develops and executes communications strategies for WA’s clients, ensuring that the messages that they deliver to their audiences enhance their reputation, build influence and drive their bottom line. Having previously specialised in financial services, she now works across a range of sectors with a focus on education.
Outside of WA, Lorna spent eight years as an elected local government councillor at the London Borough of Camden, where she served as Deputy Mayor, led projects for the Council on the sustainability agenda, and was also Vice-Chair of the Council’s £2bn pension fund.
Passionate about ensuring that young people get the best start in life, she is a trustee of a local Sure Start centre and has experience serving on the board of governors of a small education charity. Lorna is an animal lover and owner to her beloved cats, Bambam and Cleopatra.
