WA Communications is seeking an exceptional Account Manager to join its growing Financial Services division.

Launched as part of the award-winning Strategic Communications practice, the Financial Services team is keenly focused on supporting clients in the financial industry to raise their profile as well as help shape the policies which impact their sector.

Voted best consultancy in 2020 by the CIPR, WA is a people-focused and market leading communications consultancy, based in Westminster. As Account Manager, you will play a key role in the team, working on range of exciting issues and maximising your media relationships to land stories which grab attention and help drive the news agenda.

Please get in touch if you:

  • Have at least two years’ experience working on corporate communications, PR and corporate reputation work
  • Have strong media relationships across both the nationals and financial trade media
  • Are well versed across traditional and social media, with first-hand experience of running a press office across multiple channels
  • Thrive on managing multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Are known for having a very strong eye for detail and exceptional written work
  • Are a team player who will show initiative and roll their sleeves up to help
  • Really care about client service and you know what excellent client care looks like
  • Have very strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Are naturally inquisitive and curious with a desire to learn and grow

Experience of working in a corporate communications consultancy would be desirable, but a track record of working on communications campaigns in the financial services industry is essential.
